sisterbutterflySae Kurosawa is an extremely dangerous and hostile spirit with a strong dash of crazy. While Sae will not be going murder happy in the game, she still has the capability to kill and hurt people. In particular she will be drawn to twins and younger sisters, and may choose to haunt/stalk them. Sae is really freaky and deranged, and I understand that not many people would want to deal with a bloodthirsty and arguably suicidal ghost. Please feel free to use this post as an opt-out for Sae tags, an opt-out for being haunted by Sae, and/or if you'd like me to not include references to suicide/fratricide when tagged by Sae.
Alternatively, if you'd like to be haunted by Sae Kurosawa, you can also comment here. There are three kinds of hauntings Sae will carry out:
1. Jumpscares. Leaving bloody handprints on the wall, making noises in the attic and in dark corners, knocking stuff over. Causing machines to go haywire. Catching a glimpse off her out of the corner of the characters' eyes, staring and smiling at them. Catching glimpses off her walking through doors. Hearing her calling out for Yae/her sister. Popping up right in front of them and laughing maniacally.
2. Chases. Sae can chase characters. If she catches them, they'll simply wake up in daylight at their homes, mostly unharmed except for feeling very tired and lethargic, and requiring a few days' rest. She'll stop chasing if they successfully leave the area, if they come to some kind of harm while trying to escape, or if they use a holy item to protect themselves/chase her away.
3. Injuries, Possession and Death. I'm definitely open to bad ends, so please feel free to contact me if you'd like your character to be terrorized and killed by Sae. Importantly, being touched by Sae over a period of time will cause your character to slowly die. Repetitive touch within a short period of time will also kill them.
Lastly, a rather important note: Sae is a pretty tough ghost to take down. Normal weapons and magic abilities/skills can't harm her, but anything holy/divine/celestial in nature can, or if you have the Camera Obscura. Otherwise, you'd better start running!!
